Vacation in Obergurgl in the Ötztal
Obergurgl is located at the end of the valley of the picturesque Ötztal. The Appartementhotel Johannes is located close to the center on a small hill. The ski slopes and the hiking area are right outside the front door. In only 5 minutes walk you reach the village center.
How do you find your way to Appartementhotel Johannes?
Follow the B186 to Obergurgl. Near the center of the village turn left (signpost "U3"). Follow the road for a few meters. The Appartementhaus Johannes and the Hotel Enzian are now on the left side.

Arrival by car
You can reach the Appartementhotel Johannes via the B186 in summer and winter. On site there is one garage parking space per apartment for your car or motorcycle. Arrival variant in summer: From June to October you can also reach the Appartementhotel Johannes via the toll road Timmelsjoch Hochalpenstraße. The scenic route leads across the Austrian-Italian border and is a real experience.
Arrival by public transport
The train station at the beginning of the Ötztal is well connected to the European route network. There are many direct connections to "Ötztal Bahnhof". In front of the station building the bus starts in the direction of Obergurgl. We will gladly pick you up at the bus stop "Obergurgl Zentrum".

Train information
Several times a day there are flights to Innsbruck airport (about 1.5 hours by car from Obergurgl) from Frankfurt and Vienna. Seasonally there are also other connections. The international airports of Munich, Salzburg or Zurich are about 3 hours away by car and offer a variety of national and European flight connections. You can get to Obergurgl either by train and bus or a Airport shuttle.
